A graduate of Yale and the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Dick completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in hematology and medical oncology at The New York Hospital and Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In 1981, he opened his practice in Greenwich, CT, and joined the medical staff of Greenwich Hospital. Dick also served as the hospital’s Chief of Staff, Chairman of Oncology, and medical director of its Hospice Program. In 2000, he was president of the Connecticut State Medical Society, and in 2004, he earned an SM in Health Care Management from the Harvard School of Public Health. In 2018, Dick was appointed Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine and joined the Smilow Cancer Hospital network. He specialized in the treatment of breast cancer. 


Dick received his Episcopal education at St. Paul’s School, Concord, NH, and served on the Vestry of Christ Church Greenwich. After retirement in 2021, he completed the first year of the MAR program at Yale/Berkeley Divinity Schools and plans to complete his studies at The University of the South, Sewanee, TN. Dick and his wife, Frankie, now live in southwest Georgia.
