Armando obtained his B.A. in political science in 2014 from Yale College, where he joined the Episcopal Church and became an active congregant at ECY. He went on to receive his M.Div. from Yale Divinity School in 2018 and was ordained in the Episcopal Church in Connecticut before earning his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2021. In law school, Armando was active in immigrant rights litigation and advocacy. Most recently, he served as curate at Christ Church in New Haven after working at what is now Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Bristol, Connecticut. He is married to fellow divinity school classmate and former ECY choir member Abigail Storch, who works in publishing in New Haven.
